1: Grims Watch

"Have you begun to feel anything for the girl?"
Nihil walked down the dark hallway of the unmoved house. He enjoyed his walks before the chaos in silence despite the fact that the humans in the house could not hear him. Nihil's enjoyed being cool and collected, unlike his brothers. His hair is short, eyes blue, and he is six feet tall. He is also twenty one years old. 
"Never."
Outside his two younger brothers Montauk and Rilo and their friend Valencia scouted the perimeter. Tonight is their last night at the Maxwell residence. Nihil, Montauk, Rilo, and Valencia make up the Grims. They are one of many specialized demon hunting groups. Montauk has short hair as well, blue eyes, but he is taller and more muscular than Nihil. He is nineteen. Rilo, who is sixteen, has hair up to his shoulders and green eyes.
"I'll begin now."
Sarah Maxwell woke up when she heard a gun shot in the other room. She got out of her bed and slowly walked to the door.
"You're using possession this time?"
Sarah heard her mother scream. She opened the door and peaked her head out. Down the hall she saw her little sister Melissa crouched on the floor on all fours. She whispered her name.
"Remember when we used to just hide in the closest?"
Melissa turned to her. To Sarah's surprise it was her neck that turned, and it turned in a way that almost paralyzed her.
"Or under the bed?"
Melissa screamed in a voice that was not her own.
"Those were the days."
As the possessed Melissa crawled across the floor Sarah reentered her room quickly and locked the door. She slouched against it and began to cry.
"You two are too young to remember those days. Besides it takes a lot more now to attract demons toward our circles."
Moments later there was a knock at the door. Her brother's voice came from behind it. He said he was scared and for her to let him in. Sarah quickly unlocked the door and swung it open. She screamed at the sight of him. Her twelve year old brother stood at the doorway dripping blood with a rifle in his hands. His jaw was missing, and his tongue was pointing at the ground.
"This is why you're the best."
She kicked him in the chest and slammed the door shut.
"They should be coming soon."
She opened her window and stepped out onto the roof. She climbed to the top of it. As she did her door was shot open. Kyle and Melissa entered and then headed to the roof to pursue her.
"The freaks come out at night."
Across from her stood her brother with a rifle and her sister on all fours.
"And the Grims kill them. Forever."
He raised the rifle and Melissa charged forward towards her.
"They're here."
A demon shaped like a bear tackled her sister off the room. "Kill it." The demon and Melissa fell to the ground. It ripped the girls head off. Montauk stood before it. "It's a beautiful night, isn't it?" It moved away from the body.
Back on the roof Kyle shot his rifle. The bullet skinned Sarah's face and she fell to her knees clutching her cut. Before he could fire another shot a demon with wings flew out of the dark sky and pulled the rifle from his hands.
"We got another bugger."
"This one's mine."
Valencia landed on the roof between Sarah and Kyle. Valencia is 5'8, has long black hair, hazel eyes, is tan, and has a slender body. She pulled the spirit bow off her back. When she pulled back the string two arrows made of red spirit energy appeared on it. One arrow hit Kyle in the chest and the other hit the demon in the shoulder sending it crashing to the ground. She jumped down off the roof to find the fallen demon.
"You're too late, Val." Rilo pulled his sword out of the neck of the demon Valencia shot down. He wiped his sword clean and put it away. "Let's go check up on, Montauk." When they found him and his demon he was fist fighting it. His hands were glowing red.
"Give me a second, guys."
The demon slashed at him but he evaded the attack. From behind Rilo and Valencia came a growl. "Kira and Set are hungry." Two black wolves came out of the bushes to watch the fight. Montauk had the demon in a headlock. The demon began to talk. "Soon, we will rise and-" Valencia grabbed its tongue and cut it off.
"We don't care."
The wolves began to eat the tongue. 

"Who are you?" Sarah said through her tears. Not far from her stood Nihil.
"My name is Nihil."
She opened her eyes and saw his face. She recognized it.
"I've seen you before. You've been in my dreams."
"I have. I am a demon hunter and I have been in your mind for the past three days."
"Why?"
"Because your home fell under a circle. Which means it must be used as an attraction."
"For what," She gulped. "Demons?" He nodded.
He stepped towards her. "Did you kill them?" He nodded again. "And my brother and sister?"
"I'm afraid so."
He offered her a hand. She took it as time stopped. Nihil turned his head slowly.
"You have no reason to be here."
At the other end of the house stood two people in all white. The girl spoke.
"We're just checking in. You know the routine, Nihil." She smiled. Her name is Isis. She is an angel of the Law division. They are those tasked with protecting humans and watching over demonic hunting. She is the same height as Valencia, blue eyed, and beautiful.
"I can check you into a hospital if you'd like, Isis."
Valencia said as her and the others landed right behind Nihil, and a demon body at the feet of Isis and her partner. Isis continued to smile.
"You can go now, Luca."
Luca was the other Law member. He is the same height and build as Nihil, with blue eyes as well. He took a breath before responding.
"Our reports suggest you might have become attached to the mortal."
"Attached?" Rilo said confused.
"Yes, and that is a violation of your code."
"Don't patronize us, we know the code! My brother hasn't gone soft with the girl."
"Well then,"
He motioned to Sarah.
"You may continue."  Nihil turned his attention back onto Sarah as time continued.
"I thought my brother and sister were going to kill me."
He helped her stand up. She was now standing up straight right in front of him.
"Did you come here just to save me?"
He grabbed her by the waist and looked deeply into her eyes. She leaned over to kiss the stranger from her dreams.Time stopped again. He kissed her and drained her soul from her body. He then threw her body off the the roof and turned towards Luca and Isis.
"I'm demon prince Nihil Satan, and Grims don't fall in love with temporals."
